Italic

Italic has been an Art direction project.
I develop with the Korean designer group ROJOTYPE this book about Italy and about a new typeface SNELLO.

Snello is an elegant display font, inspired by the harmonic landscapes of the Peninsula. The biggest characteristic of Snello is that it is a san-serif font but, it looks like a serif font because of its high contrast weight.

My collaboration on the project was more from the Art Direction point of view plus I develop all the photographies published in the book.
We decided to create this edition to celebrate the friendship between Korean and Italian design, demonstrate how Italy, with his history and beauty, still preserve such a strong “soft power” on artists and designers all over the world.
