Tally Weijl
TW–Ecommerce
From January 2020 till December 2022 I had been the Team Leader of the graphics team at Tally-Weijl in Basel, Switzerland.
My job was to create assets for E-commerce, Website, DEM, CRM activities, Social media, Newsletters, Website and Marketing content and coordinate the workflow of my team.
In my daily task I was side by side with our Art director creating amazing and always on-brand designs.
UX/UI
In 2020 Tally Weijl started a rebranding and redesign process. Me and my team followed the whole process internally, designing a new brand book and the new short logo.
In this transformation process I had the focus in designing a new look for the app and website.
Most of the attention was focused on the homepage and a few category pages, visually reorganising all content for a better and more contemporary user experience.
• I’ve introduced a 3D category page at the top and some filters. Category page starts with an image/video and text followed by products.
Product list is now separated by text and campaign images.
• Products are displayed in form of carousel and as interactive purchase to improve the engagement with customers.
There’s a new feature with the possibility to resize contents in 2 different ways: big and small.
• In the app its introduced a brand new sections named as “blog” with a specific black background.
• The burgermenu is completely redesigned, sliding from the side with a more dinamic and fresh look.
Elements of Homepage
Example of homepage contents:
• Main hero Banner
• Small hero banner
• Burger menu
• PLP promotional banner
• Category banner
Elements of Newsletter
During the years in Tally I’ve reworked and reframed the Newsletter many times:
– New look and feel introducing always dynamic and user-friendly elements.
– More social media vibes adding elements such as emojis and a more friendly tone of voice.
– Introduce .gif and animations
– Introduce banners to break rhythm and create a more engaging storytelling
The bottom part is focused on product selection (adding descriptions and prices) that link directly to the homepage to make it easier for customers to purchase items.
