Sushi Samba

In early 2021 I started to collaborate on different projects with IMMERSIVE CULT, a creative agency based in London.

Sushi Saba is a rooftop bar & restaurant placed in the famous London Heron Tower. During Christmas time Sushi Samba wanted a new skin to dress up for the holidays, and Immersive Cult asked me to design a fresh and cool site-specific texture.

I created a design mixing Japanese symbology and a modern Dazzle texture. All the artworks are unique and have been designed specifically for each surface. In every pattern, we add a perspective twist to improve the sense of depth. All textures are finally produced and printed on a glued vinyl material.

From this design, I also elaborated a neon shape lamp.

at the entrance, a series of columns drive visitors to the entrance. Here we added a neon effect and for each column, I design a simple but effective linear black and orange look. Dark color make volums disappear while the orange lines enanche a sense of continuity with the neons giving a sense of lightness to the whole structures
